Do you offer blooming arrangements?

Yes. Blooming arrangements are one of the most impactful ways to bring seasonal color, freshness, and a sense of occasion into a space - and they're a natural complement to a permanent plant installation. We design blooming arrangements for reception desks, conference tables, private offices, residential interiors, and event spaces throughout Colorado.

Unlike fresh-cut florals, our long-lasting blooming rotations are designed to stay vibrant for weeks at a time, making them a more economical and lower-maintenance alternative without sacrificing visual impact. We handle delivery, placement, and rotation on a schedule that keeps your space feeling alive and vibrant year-round. Whether you need a standing arrangement program or a one-time statement piece, we'd love to help.

Do you provide a warranty for your maintenance service?

Yes. Clients enrolled in an active maintenance agreement with Root By Design are covered by our plant replacement guarantee. If a plant declines or fails under normal conditions while under our care, we replace it at no additional charge. No negotiation, no invoice, no excuses.

We're able to stand behind this commitment because we document every visit and monitor plant health proactively - which means we address issues early, before they become failures. The guarantee is the promise. The documentation and care process is what makes it possible to keep it.

Do you provide maintenance for office plants?

Absolutely. Professional plant care is what keeps an installation looking beautiful long after installation day.

During each visit, our trained Plant Care Technician evaluates every plant, waters as needed, prunes, dusts, rotates, monitors for pests, and makes proactive adjustments based on seasonal changes. We also document each visit so you always know how your plants are doing.

Our maintenance programs are customized to your space, giving your plants the consistent care they need to thrive.

Where do you serve, and how do I get started?

We're based in Colorado and provide services throughout the Front Range, including Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, and surrounding communities. We also partner with architects, designers, and developers on national installation projects outside of Colorado. Project locations have included New York, San Francisco, Detroit and Wyoming.

Do you offer replica plant design, and when does it make sense?

Yes. While we believe there's nothing quite like the beauty and benefits of living plants, there are situations where high-quality replica plants are the best solution.

Spaces with little to no natural light, areas that are difficult to access for regular maintenance, or environments with heavy foot traffic can all be great candidates for replica plants. In these cases, we design and install premium faux plants with the same level of care and attention to detail as our living plant installations.

We'll help you determine which approach serves that goal best for your specific situation.

What happens if a plant doesn’t thrive after installation?

We stand behind our work. If a plant fails under normal conditions and you have an active maintenance agreement with us, we replace it at no charge. We document every visit - what was done, what was observed, what was adjusted - so we always have a clear record of how a plant has been cared for.

If an issue arises from conditions outside our scope (a building maintenance event, an unexpected heat exposure, a change in the space), we'll have an honest conversation and find the right path forward together. What we don't do is disappear or send an invoice. Transparency and accountability are how we build lasting relationships.

How does your design process work?

Every project begins with a conversation. We take the time to understand your space, how it's used, the available light and the feeling you want people to experience in your space. Whenever possible, we love to walk your space in person, but we can also work from blueprints, renderings, and photos.

From there, we create a visual, itemized plant design proposal with thoughtfully selected plants, planters and biophilic elements. We collaborate with you throughout the design process and welcome as many revisions as needed to ensure the design aligns with your vision, aesthetic and budget.

Once everything is approved, we source, deliver, and professionally install your plants. For clients who want lasting results, our weekly maintenance program keeps your installation healthy, thriving, and looking its best year-round.
